Building a Safer Britain

The Halo Project charity is delighted to be hosting a regional summit in partnership with the Home Office, Building Stronger Britain Together team.

The purpose of the summit is to:

• Outline Government approach to tackling extremism through the Building a Stronger

Britain Together Programme

• Highlight lessons learned, sharing best practice by the Halo Project and their Circle of Friends programme

• Encourage and support the reporting of illegal and harmful cultural practices in order to build resilience and achieve community safety

• Agree what more is needed in our region to change mindsets and to bridge the gap between communities and public services

Who should attend:

Leaders, Strategic leads for safeguarding, PREVENT leads, VAWG commissioners, Health,

Adult & Children Service, Safeguarding boards, Community Safety Partnerships, Police,

Public Protection, Criminal Justice Agencies, Domestic Abuse Providers, staff with safeguarding duties.
