The draft law will now go to the senate for debate.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"element element-rich-link element--thumbnail element-rich-link--upgraded\" data-component=\"rich-link\" data-link-name=\"rich-link-1 | 1\">\n<div class=\"rich-link tone-news--item \">\n<div class=\"rich-link__container\">\n<div class=\"rich-link__image-container u-responsive-ratio\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-link__header\">\n<p class=\"rich-link__title\">Under the existing legislation it is possible for a child from the age of 14 to enter into marriage with permission from a judge, while 16-year-olds can marry with parental consent.
